Marketing Strategy Backed By In-depth Experience
We believe effective online marketing plans are driven by your quantitative business goals and informed by data. Of course, these are best assessed while drinking freshly made French press coffee or a West Coast double IPA, depending on the time of day. Like brewing exceptional coffee or beer, online marketing is both a science and an art.
After decades of experience at marketing agencies and with in-house marketing teams, we’ve learned progress requires a plan, and a good plan rests on the ability to focus on important outcomes. That’s why we emphasize marketing strategy so much.
Over the course of our careers, we’ve also developed a strong, insightful understanding of how creative and technical marketing skills can and should work together. Depending on what our clients need, you’ll find us working closely with marketing managers or in a fractional CMO capacity, leading and collaborating with other marketing specialists.

When it comes to implementing the marketing plan, we deliver expert messaging, SEO, content, data analysis, website design, social media strategy, and project management services. If you need other types of marketing expertise (graphic design, SEM, video production, etc.), we work collaboratively with your existing team or help you find the right fit among consultants we trust.
In the crowded arena of digital marketing providers, this approach not only sets us apart, it also makes experienced marketers more accessible and affordable for small businesses.
We Focus On Data-informed Digital Marketing
At Data Dames, we believe data is an absolute necessity in every marketer’s toolbox and needs to play a prominent role in the design and performance evaluation of your marketing plan. Data informs decisions, but when it comes to steering your business toward the horizon, your short- and long-term business goals should be the drivers.
We thrive on helping clients master their website data, develop and implement data-informed marketing goals and strategies, measure outcomes, and achieve their business objectives.

Throughout my life, I’ve been driven by a curiosity to know and understand ideas and things—science, technology, poetry, communication, and psychology, among others. In the fast-paced industry of web marketing, my curiosity has served me well, not only in learning SEO, but also in discovering my penchant for website performance research and analysis.
Data is my passion. I love performing data research and analysis that helps my clients establish specific, targeted website goals and achieve even greater business success online.
Industries I’ve worked with extensively include manufacturing / heavy industry and e-commerce. I also have experience with real estate, education, SaaS / cloud-based software, health care, and more.
In the moments when I’m not studying web analytics, implementing SEO, and tracking deliverables, I indulge my appetite for learning by listening to NPR and podcasts and by reading books and articles from my endless queue. I care about social justice issues, like poverty, racism, and gender inequality, and I crave spending time outdoors. Relaxation for me is coffee, craft beer, biking, and watching episodes of The Office.

As a marketer, I’m known for big-picture ideas, as well as the ability to accomplish them using an organized, strategic approach. Writing is how I get it done. It brings clarity and focus to everything I do and results in brand messaging and content assets that are both creative and on point.
Success in digital marketing—with its ever-changing array of platforms, apps, and tools—requires clarity and focus, too. With more than 24 years of agency, small business, corporate, and non-profit experience, I’m the right dame to do it. My passion is helping clients zero in on the marketing strategies and tactics that align with their business objectives and guiding them through the implementation process from start to finish.
Industries I’ve served extensively include health care, manufacturing / heavy industry, and education. I also have experience with banking, e-commerce, building and construction, home improvement, leadership training, energy, legal, business consulting, and more.
Founder and member of the same book club since 1997, I love to read J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy from cover to cover, including appendices, about every five years. My high-strung chocolate lab, named after C.S. Lewis, often makes me question my sanity, and my 80s playlist on Apple Music is heavily influenced by Billy Joel. My days usually start with freshly ground coffee or black loose-leaf tea of Kenyan origin, and they sometimes end with a bit of bourbon. A fan of hiking and history, I hope to someday visit Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and trek to the top of Half Dome.
